L. Scott Cohen has over thirty years of professional experience in Public Policy, Regulatory & Legislative Advocacy, and Economic Development. He has represented industry associations, small business interests, as well as Fortune 100 Companies on a variety of issues, specializing in the Public Utilities and Higher Education spaces. He has consulted to clients on strategic planning, consensus building, and various development projects based in private business and faith-based communities.
Scott has worked closely with Federal and State lawmakers, Attorneys General, and Regulators nationwide. Additionally, he has lobbied at the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of the Treasury and to several foreign Governments. He has been an invited speaker at national business seminars and has published in several trade and peer journals.
Scott holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Assumption College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
